The Camera Club of the Philippines is fortunate to have three gorgeous ladies in one night for the Model Competition last March.
The first model, Danita Paner is a Filipino pop-rock singer and actress. She is the daughter of former basketball player Manny Paner and actress Daisy Romualdez, and sister of Kristina Paner. She has an album produced by Viva Records named Promotor containing 10 tracks which includes the songs “Lunod” “Kung Wala Na Nga” and a cover of Prettier Than Pink’s song “Cool Ka Lang”. Paner made her debut teleserye via TV5’s My Driver Sweet Lover opposite JC de Vera.
Sister of model Paolo Paraiso was another CCP’s guest model. Bubbles Paraiso started modeling in 2001, right after high school. She eventually tried hosting and acting in 2006. A member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), she was excited to show her poses to the CCP members as she wanted to find out how the Model Photo Shoot Competition works. Just like her dad, she likes to take photographs but is lazy to bring a DSLR camera. She just settles using her iPhone to capture scenic views and interesting moments. She considers herself a shopaholic, peanut butter addict, one-of-the-boys, childish yet mature, simple but complicated and a sportsbuff.
Lastly, Maria Assunta Tiotangco Schiavone-Ledesma is a Filipina-Italian actress known by her stage name Assunta De Rossi. She has been with the movie industry and has already won the Best Actress award at the Metro Manila Film Festival. It was her first time to be invited at CCP Model Photo Shoot but had numerous photo shoots for various advertisements and commercials. She has seen some of the works of CCP members when she went to Bacolod for the Maskara Festival. Some of her favorites include landscapes and portraits of people. Aside from admiring these photographs, she likes cameras as well. She used to own a Leica but gave it to her sister, Alessandra. She hopes to get a new unit in the future.
